Ah, my, 11pm GMT+5. The weekend was !!!
I fired up the feed reader to check how many posts had accumulated, which was something like 261. I mushed it down to 131, but now I’ve 25 or so open tabs… not the point.
So one of the first (or last if we are talking about LIFO) posts I was twiddling through was Sasa on a new weekly entry. Also not the point (though it should be interesting ^^), but that snap of Kyou, which everyone knows about (and if not, they should… and I’m not talking about the gym supply room shot) stimulated a small moment of cheer, but I realized a minute resemblance between Kyou’s “essence” and that of Michelle Pfeiffer (earlier works and such).
Yeah, may be there’s quite a few actresses out there I could make resemblances, but it isn’t just the appearance; similar pep and flare perhaps. Strangely, I wasn’t particularly thinking about Pfeiffer, nor have I viewed any of her films recently (I’m not quite a fan), hence the “light bulb” effect. Anyway, that little bit of unknown magic I find between the two is slightly warming.

Well, tehe, Kanon finished much different than I had expected. Previously I thought Ayu was down-and-out of the ordeal, but…
Poor thing. I’m not going to go into the story or theory on the magic that takes the cake for Kanon’s story, but it was enjoyable, heartfelt, and turned out light. More…

For most of the series I’ve started watching this fall, I’ve at least hit the 4th episode. I haven’t made anything formal, but some of my interests are getting uninteresting. After taking a glance over the fall season, I was sure I’d have at least 5 solid shows to enjoy until winter, but I took it upon myself to check out more than 5 just in case “things” happen. So Kanon is about the only thing I’ve really been blogging at a steady rate, but I enjoy it. Its the little things that get me. Episode 7 is more progressive, and I even found it a bit spooky, but I found it more enjoyable than watching Yuuichi prance his sarcasm pony as in the previous episodes (even though there is still a bit of it).

My personal feeling are that this was a good episode, but not quite a match for the previous. There is cuteness abundance, but nothing really stunning, even though the episode gives Ayu more time then the other girls. Ayu is still cute, but I’m feeling kind of immune because of the typical cuteness. In fact, I believe the episode’s goal was to slightly irritate the viewer with the orange tones (orange is supposedly irritating). Anyway, I did enjoy the episode.
