Well, I believe I’ve sampled most everything I’d like to take in this season. I’m going to be lazy here and just post my stream of impressions/scrobblings/etc. Individual series can be filtered in the view.
And to wrap-up, in order of priority:
Or should be, Mah Deity Kisses Me. Furries!
Regardless of a certain fetish1, this series had a very enjoyable first episode. One of the larger noodles hanging out has to be Norio Wakamoto’s performance and just about every one of his lines coming off amusing. Seriously…

Dirty old man spots furry bijin! He is ready to pounce, look at him.
What, the, ballistic, fuck! My short-take.
From about this point:

To this point (which was precisely the next frame… coincidence? no way):

I realized just how completely lolwwwwww this was. And to be honest, it’s not crazy, but it does constitute capitalized w-t-f.
Oh Mah Gawd, she’s so lightning.Rather than do a Spring preview… What is Spring really about? The lightning and shining of youth? nai nai nai… what is Spring 2009 about? I have no clue [, but if you ask me later I'll probably say fantasy girls]…oh well I’ll just give my take on premise appeal for a few interests of the pre-season.
This is totally for Michael, who managed 5++ consecutive Geass posts. Here’s the melativity:
I have 43 levels of anime rated. CG was on level 38 around episode 19-20. I hadn’t moved it, but checking it, and with respect to the ending I bumped it up to level 26 [of 43]. So what the hell does it mean?
Points-wise: having 43 levels I can award a maximum of 43 points to a title (if one wants to think about the points, but it’s not necessary), but because of the exponential decay, level 26 (sharing with 2 other titles) receives 8.3542 points. This is all in the algorithm so it’s not manual.
Percentage-wise: on levels 26/43 = 60.47%, on points 8.3542/43.0000 points = 19.4284%
The indicators do have differences, but there is strong protection against over and under rating when spread across many users who have rated the same title.
On a point scale, I would give R2 roughly 7.85 out of 10.0. Here is why that 60% does not equal 6/10 and shouldn’t be treated as such, and neither should the 19%. But do you really trust my x out of 10 rating, because everyone’s scales vary.
These numbers completely mean nothing, unless they were taking in the context of other titles, where we would be able to see how it compares to other titles. So yea…
I should add my little perception on Lelouche’s “death.” Many are split with this, and it’s open => subjective, but there are logical arguments based on character emotions etc (if that is possible?). So I don’t believe Lulu is dead, not in the least, and there is good argument for his immortal survival. Though, if that is the case, it does take critical points away from the rating because it is much too Sunrise. Yet, there is no way for Lulu to have survived [in the flesh] if not immortal. What I’m saying is that Lulu is possibly a Jesus reference. I won’t defend this, but in the end, I do believe C.C. has some form of contact with Lulu, and whats more…
I do believe C.C. is still immortal.
note: episode 25 reflection.
I can’t believe this, how is this interesting? It might be, but watching this video was just too funny.

I don’t think I will keep up with “Frenzy Family Journal/Diaries”, but I’m soo checking out the first episode. It has “Wizard of Oz” written all over, but with extra characters, such as a Starship Trooper, alt.persona loli-patch, and a tentacle jelly creature. Apparently it is sourced from a light novel series, so who knows how it will be. Hopefully, if it is “smart-funny”, like Keroro, it will be enjoyable, but who knows. The whole family grouping thing is a sort of meh premise (reminds me of Adams Family). Omni will probably have First episode impressions today. I’m hoping for a 720p version sooner or later (me thinks the eccentric is better at high res). My own reflection soon.
On a totally unrelated note, I love the French press.

Okay, this is it. Dennou Coil is my final marathon of the year. I don’t really know what to say about a series that isn’t an epic or monumental adventure out beyond the stars at this point, but I’ll try my best…
