Is there really a Nagato Yuki?

After some wikipedia time, I thought about the concept of ‘conscious electrons’ (a question actually). Quickly, I came across a recent (August 2007) ScienceDaily article. One of the first things that came to mind was Nagato Yuki. The article briefly discusses what physicists are observing with plasma particles (in space, in the lab, in the spacelab?), and that they exhibit lifelike mannerisms. Interestingly, these ‘gases’ are not carbon or silicon based, hence… inorganic aliens. Is it the Integrated Data Entity? Probably not, but its a comforting thought.
This fanboy dream is somewhat viable, but without a doubt, a real Nagato Yuki would not likely be as cute.
