kimikiss - pure rouge

natsukashii… sakura… what? kimikiss is relationship-bound, shoujo? Well, a couple intersting characters (IQ space-girl…bishi), but typical setup even if the situation is slightly different. Really, if this is shoujo, it doesn’t feel like it, at all; doesn’t feel “fresh”.

Apparently, the school is filled with bishis, and Mao came back to be around cute things… I understand. This could be on the droppage list.

Rental Magica

These shows come along, there was Ghost Hunt, Venus vs Virus, Zombie Loan, Kaze no Stigma… yet, Rental Magica feels more like D.Gray-man. It isn’t bad, and though I didn’t really find any of the first group awful, I hope Rental Magica does better (it’s an innate feeling). This series will have to impress, or else … ^^ Interesting enough, there won’t be a lack of subs on this one.

Bamboo Blade

BB fills Umisho’s spot in my schedule with a similar feel, less the extreme ecchi every 60 seconds. It isn’t sparatic, it’s shounenish, and the romantic outlook seems fair. Plus, Tama-chan is really cute, like a little tiger!

Hero Tales

Shonen! Martial fighting skills were alright, Hero Tales seems a bit ordinary, but it looks entertaining. It has potential, yet I’m not that keen on the generic super-strength stuff, but with a large handful of characters to come… it has potential.

Gundam 00

Very good animation (Sunrise), nice level of complexity, but I don’t get the jist of things when it comes to “Gundam”. When it comes to Gundam, I’ve only seen 08th Team M.S. So.. There are a blob of character spread into the thick of things and seeing the characters “connect” will be the ticket (plus the fan-servicable characters).

Shion no Ou

I like this off the bat! Interest held, suspenseful, but shounenish feel with the shogi matches. I’m nearly sure the shogi aspect is a delivery mechanism, and the real beef lies with the 3 characters. Solid on my priorites!

Ghost Hound

This show makes up for the attempts of other series this Fall. Personally, the first episode was one of the best of the season, but I’m dying for softsubs… the HD raw is juicy! I’m not hyping it up, but it at least feels “well-planned”.
