I may have mentioned or referenced only tid-bits on the great things I’ve read and seen in the anime blogging community, but I’m going to make this entry solely to point towards this enriching blog; anime|otaku.

I haven’t followed the entirety of Michael’s posts (from the beginning), but I have enjoyed some of those thought provoking entries. The earliest one I can recall, which sticks out over others, was the entry on mono no aware. It was a semi-reflection on the Japanese intrigue with beauty and sadness and a mingling with the book by Yasunari Kawabata. I was stimulated enough to enjoy the book, and I consider it well spent time. I simply find it nice that this blogging style exists in the anime blogosphere.

There are truly many good things about the entries, but one that really hits the reader in the face is the linguistics. Superb use of the jolly ole’ English. I would hardly attempt to bring myself to that level, and it really isn’t necessary for the content of my entries, but it has a due place in Michael’s posts. Merit up!

Having said that, and acknowledging that I don’t have a high reader content, I’d still like to spill the beans on anime|otaku. I seriously doubt that anyone reading here has not read his blog, but if that slim statistic is here now, I encourage one to go, browse, del.icio.us it, and keep it for a rainy day. Or if one has been there, and passed it up, I root for another round.

That is all, now off to possibly formulate some content for this dearly flailing blog of mine. ^^

Cheers and good day!

Funny enough I didn’t recall seeing the website until I saw the background, those candies made me remember visiting that site but quickly discarding it as I like many are drawn to the vibrant colours of the internet. ( We all like shiney stuff :3 ) I had a proper look at the blog and found that his posts were actually quite interesting. Especially caus he seems to have enjoyed Dota lol.

lol, I can agree with vibrance. I still don’t know about Dota, I can only assume it is an online game of some form. I am a very lax game player.
