There’s really no need for me to go into the details of my January selection as hashihime has already put together some useful info on a good portion of the January premiers. It really seems I just grabbed the moe ones and hardly any shounen-style, but I expect to probably lose interest in a couple of these (just facing reality). Here’s some found in hashihime’s descripts:
- Nodame Cantabile (watched the live-action, it’s fun)
- Manabi Straight (cute characters, but the trailer didn’t “set-me-off”)
- Venus Versus Virus (more anticipated)
- Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora (more anticipated; wishing to see how if it will relate to Kannazuki no Miko, ie)
Edit: Definitely some confusion on my part, I guess I should have looked at the end dates on the anidb.info calendar, because it is totally off. My bad! ^_^, Thanks Danny n Demien for pointing this out :). Anyway, Polyphonica, Ketai Shoujo, Lucky Star, Seto no Hanayome look like Spring. Nanatsurio Drops looks like it may be further off.
I took a glance at the calendar on anidb a month ago and jotted it in because the start date was 01.01.2007. Note to self: be skeptical of dates airing from 01.01.2007 to 12.31.2007. A dead giveaway of how incorrect that calendar is could probably be seen with the Zero 2 and Higurashi 2 being listed for January, which is error all the way (though they weren’t listed a month ago). Funny thing is that going through February and March on the calendar, I really didn’t take to anything else. So I’ll change the title and remove most of those series, and blah, this post sucked. Oh well, [note kawaii snow miko instead].

I guess if my Winter outlook is sparse, it is for the better. More time to keep up with Fall shows and eat up the backlog. Yaay!

Wait, Polyphonica comes out in January?! I thought it was later. If you want a taste of the Polyphonica world, Insani has a translation of the game demo you can play. I’m really looking forward to this.
i think the reason these anime are not on the list is that NONE of them except the last movie actually airs in January. Their official release dates have not even been announced, so its more than likely they will be spring shows, if not summer or fall shows next year.
LOL, oh god I was wrong. Yea.. I’ll be more skeptical of those listed dates, esp the ones airing for exactly one year start to finish. すみません!
