Yes, I’m sitting at home, drinking some Newcastle on my Spring vacation and feeling rather down that I didn’t quite enjoy any anime or manga this week 
My own fault really, as I wanted to be less productive, but somehow managed to fire-up over an xul application. Anyhow…
So google reader introduced the cool comment thing [, basically nullifying WordPress] but it seems to only be useful between friends/contacts.. cool Google, just cool. This pushes me to do 1 or 2 of 2 things: 1) migrate my opml feeds and 2) sync contact info with other bloggers. The issue stands, too many email addresses, and I managed to start using GR with the wrong email for this game. In short, the google comment thing could be fun to blabber around with between other bloggers… [un]fortunately, original authors will be clueless about this sort of activity lol.
Moving on, I’ve been staying up much to late recently and I’ve lost weight D:
Moving on (continued), checking in with the google reader I seem to find between 100-200 unread items usually, but for some reason I end up reading 5-6 and leaving less than 30 (otaku-unrelated)… what does this say? What’s going on?
I tend to always read Author’s(zaitcev) stuff simply because it’s concise, I enjoy almost every Scrumptious post (because they’re delicious). Awesome enough, Michael has been blogging Toradora in a mighty special way; rather enjoy the thoughts. Kitsune’s been growing on me lately since the posts are not 100% anime-centric [and it's non-episodic][and I so loved the Osaka videos]. I really miss PingMag but I’ve picked up on Neojaponisme, which has some fascinating reads. I’m still awaiting Wasabi’s new plan at Iwa ni Hana… wait, no I’m not, 来た！Fuck, all those beautiful things are gone.
I’ve been pondering … Where the fack is lolikit? I believe totali has fallen off a cliff called Clannad, or perhaps is actually busy sharpening his lead sharpener thingy doing something in the real world. Owen seems like he’s a tad busy with the thing that kicked him off the face of the planet in ‘08, but I have read his recent stuff, didn’t comment on the whole pet game thing, but it was a good read.
Thinking about these slacking bloggers makes me wonder… have you ever wished someone who wasn’t a blogger, was in fact, a blogger? Hmmm…. I know a couple of those I’d wish for.
Moving on… So I’ve been pimping melative too much in the recent posts, so I’m going to try and cut it down with this last reference. New post at the melative blog. It’s the reason I’ve sacrificed nice, relaxing anime experiences, but perhaps that’s okay. I feel I accomplished quite a bit in the past 4-5 days and at least, I encourage others to play around with the xul app. I have this theory…
If I stay alone on the melative that may forever be the case.

I always have 1000+ unread items in Google and that is fine. Many subscriptions are there for the archival and search purposes. I subscribed to your blog sometime ago and read it regularly

Yes, your blog style is quite refreshing, since it highlights various cultural things, which I tend to enjoy daydreaming about just as much as anime/manga. The Meiji photo link was sweet, scary, but real. Old photos always make life feel much more temporal.
I love you man. In a totally real and platonic manner. I think there is a few people I would like to hear from as bloggers.. but I fear to voice their names D:!

@usagijen, Yea, I like the energy of your blogging. I think the community has been a little down-tempo lately, not sure what it is… though the irc does get lively once in a while. I’m positive we aren’t “losing interest” to say, but perhaps we are rather limited on topics (comparably… it is “Winter” after all)
Maybe good passion in the SPRING! It’s all about passion! (coming from a Spring child)
