Episode 4 was nice. Nothing really new or especially amazing. Well, okay, the amazing thing was the ending scene. It was almost the exact same scene from the previous episode. I don’t have a problem with that, but its kinda funny. So just about the only notable things would be the meeting between Uguu~ and Auuu~, and more taiyaki, yum *wishes to seek some out*. Also, the uguu from younger Ayu, entirely floored me; Evolution of … Uguu~!

Loli Ayu was soooooooooooo awesome, she pulls off my favourite move too, the “shirt tug” which was forever engraved into my mind by Suzuka. The Uguu~ and Auu~ friendship is winnage, Uguu~ edging out Auu~ by a considerable margin. Mini Uguu~ not as moe as its evolved counterpart though =(
I don’t know if you noticed but, every time Ayu runs away from Yuuichi, she runs into a setting sun or some sort of bright light. HMMMMM. I don’t really know the real answer but thats just what I’ve seen, at least this episode. I really liked the character interactions this episode, but I’m still not a very big fan of the series in general.
Shirukii, “shirt tug” oh yes, it’s unavoidable! Uguu~ has mystical power, especially when shes angry and shaking fists! I’d like to see the new friend go on a trip to the grocery, or even better to the taiyaki stand.
Retsgip, I did notice that, each time the shot pauses just after Ayu disappears. I was waiting for like a bright flash of light or something. Character interactions are fun to watch, I’ll have to figure if I feel more for this than AIR, but I found AIR pretty special, though I’m not rabbid about it.
