I liked the blend. Ultimately pleasing and fun. The texture is sweet in the end, and MaiHime will be a favorite of this type. I don’t mind bitter or heartbreaking endings though, often more partial to.

Mai-Hime makes me cry like a baby. Mai-Otome is a little too much for me; not as cool as Hime imo.

Hopefully the new season does a better job than both.

eee, I understand. I thought I’d be more into SAC because I mustve watched the movie 4-5 times when I first saw it, but alas
Alright, I’m definitely through half of Hime, the action plot is getting better for sure. I dont think I’ll be doing a follow up post though.

Eh it doesn’t really matter. I didn’t watch Shana until it was over for a year and I was just really bored. Still glad I did though. Pretty solid stuff. What I’ve seen of SACS is pretty good but I could never really get into it. Probably because I was watching it on tv and missed a couple episodes ;). And when that happens your basically screwed on knowing what’s happening.

I’m already about halfway through. There are some episodes that are so-so, but it’s interesting thus far. The story development is not the strongest, but it’s a good mix. I’ll definitely finish this out.

So don’t touch Otome eh? Well, I will take that into consideration; I don’t have it to watch at the moment anyway. I have a feeling some anime fans would really want to punch me if they knew some of the recent stuff I haven’t watched. Stuff like Shana or the Rozen Maidens, even the SACs, which GitS is one of the reasons I watch anime anyway, ^^;

My-Hime’s definately one of the better anime in the last couple of years, just make sure to stick around till the end where things get insane/awesome. And don’t touch my-otome at all. Terribly shitty anime.
