You know, I agree. I was thinking something about how Lockon’s end wasn’t that dramatic, because he wasn’t fleshed enough. One of G00’s pitfalls is definitely the depth of characterization, the characters that received more fleshing were secondary (and/or the characterization was typical or weak).

Generally, it is easier to identify with them imo because they aren’t 24×7 outrageous.

Specifically, I didn’t include Characterization in the list, because Geass has stronger characters, even if they are mad.

G00 is basically the second Gundam series I’ve ever watched (08th MS Team being the first).

Of course you are exaggerating, to a greater or lesser extent, so a detailed analysis is useless…but I’d agree that G00 had better execution and a more straightforward plot.

On the other hand, I found most of the G00 cast to be boring and unidentifiable, and it recycles enough Gundam cliches -not just the good ones either.
