A series can be intelligently presented or told, with thorough thought provoking moments, but Geass is like the reality TV of anime (over-dramatized for the container). Because of this, it is sloppy. It's not a flaw, plenty of people enjoy reality shows, but I'll take cheesy love-comedy over reality-style any day. *reality tv, as we know thrives on the <em>drama</em>, which is usually played up, creating intensity for the viewing experience... Geass is very much the same Anime, in general, has never been intelligent to me, clever yes, and many other things. A series can be intelligently presented or told, with thorough thought provoking moments, but Geass is like the reality TV of anime (over-dramatized for the container). Because of this, it is sloppy.
