Just a short entry about how I’ll probably not post here that often, but… I am doing episodic reflections, just the system (RSS) isn’t quite online at the moment (working on that). Seeing how the semester has begun, I’ve also given another push towards furthering my Japanese communication skills. Busting out the kanji flashcards, audio conversations, books, etc, I’m probably going to spend as much time practicing as I do enjoying anime and such.
Speaking of anime. I think my variety of Japanese media has been much to proportioned to anime and music, so I’d like to take some time to enjoy live-actions, manga, novels (light and not); the way it was a while back.
All this cuts back on the blogging time, but I really don’t have much I want to convey in an editorial fashion at the moment. Also, AB.net seems to be having trouble and I don’t get much traffic anyway, so… I think that’s enough strikes against heavy blogging for now. Really, I need to focus on another web-application, because it is dawning on a year and still not online (even after 13,000 lines of real code).
I haven’t given up my pursuit: making media relative; it’s built-in…. melative.com.

Woah, melative looks awesome, Ryan! I hope you can finish it soon. Do invite me as the first member, I’d be proud and happy at the same time.
Don’t worry with the traffic, though. I always visit your blog (I know, at spurts, but I don’t forget for more than a week :x).
Good luck with the site difficulty, the new semester, and Japanese.
Ah, thank you Michael! It’s been tough; the site is actually working, functional, but I’ve yet to add some needed features (it is cross-browser compatible as well; tough cookie). I could put it online for use, which I’m aiming for very soon; just need a few backend features implemented (RSS,ATOM). Hopefully, the modularity I’ve designed with will allow feature changes and additions without data restructuring (haven’t had a problem yet).
About the traffic, well, I do like posting, but I just don’t have anything pending at the moment.
Thank you again! I’ll be sure to send you a registration before I put it the domain.
Haha, you’re one of those who understands how to enjoy blogging, so don’t even worry. There’s nothing wrong with the unfrequent posting your blog offers, and if it’s like that, reflective style fits fine anyways.
