Code Geass - CLAMP’s handywork, and I’m silly over it.
Touka Gettan - CARNELLIAN’s handywork, voluptuous and lusterous
Lucky Star - chibiesque, moe, simple
Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight - ultra moe, a little plump but remains sensuous
Most Over-the-Top/Ridiculous
Code Geass - Euphie rampage did it, heaven save us…
Baccano! - Most insane train ride ever!
Most Surpising
Yamato Nadeshiko (I laughed, a lot!)

Most Kawai
Potemayo
Sketchbook
Best Concept
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Dennou Coil
WINNER: TTGL, I could have never imagined the vastness of the storytelling; underground to galactic. Spiral, Drill, the Lagann mecha. Brilliant concept.
Best Slice-of-life
Sketchbook: full color`s
Potemayo
Lucky Star
Moyashimon
WINNER: Sketchbook: full color`s. It is slice of life. The quaintness, the calmness, and sometime random elements. It is very soothing and warming. The characters, animation, slight comedy, are all very solid, as well as each episode’s basis.
Best Comedy
Lovely Complex
Yamato Nadeshiko
Umisho
Minami-ke
Potemayo
WINNER: NO IDEA! Really, in a comedy aspect, I’d say Lovely Complex or Yamato Nadeshiko, but with a general overall in quality, Minami-ke wins; awesome comedy and style.
My 2007 series ordering
Here is basically my rundown of 2007. I’ve taken the style from a music blog I read regularly, and I think it is fitting for my general way of things; (relative). It was difficult to decide on what went where because there is much to consider, but I’m trying my best here. No images, because I’m away in Texas this time.

Terra e… - 1Dennou Coil
So there may be some dispute about the no 1 position, but that’s a funny thing. Seriously, the quality of the top 10 or 15 even is fantastic, the top 5 brilliant, and any of them could be the number 1, but I chose Dennou Coil. DenCo was different than many series, for one it had an innocent aura about it, similar to Sketchbook’s slice-of-life, but in the twine, it was able to project a dramatic, heartfelt story. No it didn’t have service or shounen vibes, but that is probably why it overcomes TTGL and Terra e… DenCo wasn’t the most engrossing or entertaining, but the quality was on a level to just be number 1. It isn’t epic, but it doesn’t need to be, it is something understandable and fathomable; it doesn’t need to be shounen or include fanserivce…
I wish everyone a great New Years. When I return (again) home I will probably post some New Years anime-resolutions… probably.
Happy New Years!

Wow nice list, and really versatile unlike most peoples’. I still haven’t gotten around to watching DC, despite all of the praise I keep hearing about it. Have fun on another journey or w/e you’re doing.
DC was really good, but I think it is more difficult to appreciate when there is so much service love, moe’, etc in the industry. It’s just not that sexy. ^^
I’m back, but god… much driving
Great list. I just finished watching Dennou Coil, and I’d put it up there as well. Good to see someone else liked Toward the terra aside from me
