Return for Christmas

So, yes, I’ve returned to my place of stead after a short journey up and down the Eastern coast of North Am. Even though it was a nice “vacation” I’m feeling quite behind.

After a drive from the Carolinas, I came home to a mellow evening in which I spent continuing a marathon of Darker than Black; finishing the series last night (Sunday), but I am now quite backlogged with series from the Autumn season (15-18 episodes I’d guess). In the mix of this marathon there was a big gathering for a Christmas party, but these things are enjoyable, even when interrupting a marathon ^^; No, seriously, all good things.

I am wishing to continue the marathon, resuming with Dennou Coil ASAP, but I will be clearing some of the backlog before then. With hopes of gaining a fuller perspective of the year, Dennou Coil may be the last series in the marathon ranks for 2007, and a year end reflection will definitely be posted.

In the spirit

Checking around the blogroll, there are a lot of interesting posts, and a good many festive ones as well. Personally, Christmas is my favorite holiday, but I do most of the hyping myself (thinking about a tree, snow that doesn’t fall in Florida, trying to stay warm even though it’s no less than 25C outside, baking, cooking, eating, and drinking holiday foods).

Really there is no reason I enjoy the season, and I know we anime bloggers are usually a merry bunch, but for those who may not see a reason to enjoy, just have a Happy Holiday for no reason at all.
